WHY DO WE DO THEM?

All businesses have a marketing budget. Marketing is promoting and selling products and services including advertising. We could spend our entire marketing budget on slick videos for television and social media advertising, flyers that end up in your postal box, create YouTube videos on how to take pictures and pose people, or do in-store displays with partner companies. I think you get it. But for us instead we provide invitations to our sessions for two reasons.

1. EVERYONE stores digital images on smart phones. But who ever sees them? Can you come home after a long day, walk into your home, and immediately connect with your family? Yes you can if you have artwork of your family on your wall. Nope, you can’t when the photo of your family is sitting on your phone!! What happens when you forget to backup your phone and then drop it on the ground or into the toilet? Oops, there goes all your child’s milestones up to age 3. Poof, gone! With less and less actual physical documentation of our existence, how will we as a society ever be able to prove we existed?! Our company mission is to help preserve our self-history, our legacy, through tangible products. We WANT to help make sure everyone exists for future generations. How? Through products you can hold, touch, and look at when you walk into a room. Something that can be handed down to the next generation to say that you did exist. Our marketing budget goes towards you owning a piece of your history.

2. We would love to prove to you that we are your new go-to portrait studio in the northeast! Our marketing budget goes towards your session fee (which is fully refundable upon portrait selection). That means WE PAY FOR YOUR SESSION ($200). Plus, WE PROVIDE YOU A TANGIBLE PRODUCT ($350-$2,000) at absolutely no cost to you. As an invite-only client we would absolutely be doing you a disservice if we took 1 photo. So, no, we don’t do that. In about 20 minutes of time we take almost 60 photos of you, your child, your family. We show you the best of the best and we really truly hope you like what we’ve done. Does that mean you need to purchase those portraits? Absolutely not. Do we hope you fall in love with what we can do? Yes! Do we hope you think of us when you are in a place to document the next era of your family milestone? Yes! So to be completely transparent yes we will absolutely show you all the images we took and we absolutely want you to not only love your experience, but your portraits as well.
